Prince Adebayo Ogunmeno, BA, JD is a trial lawyer with almost two decades of experience in the criminal, constitutional, and civil rights law field. He was licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas in 1991 and he is the author of Silence Is Power, A Lawyer’s Step-by-Step Guide to Handling Police Interrogations and Protecting Your Freedom.
Prince Ogunmeno has assisted many clients resolved their legal problems. In the civil rights field, he has helped several clients recover compensation for wrongful arrest by department stores, for police brutality and excessive use of force by police officers, and for abuse of power by other government officials. In the criminal and constitutional law field, he has assisted several clients defend against criminal offense charges brought by the government. In the process, he has assisted several clients preserve their liberty and freedom. During his almost two decades of law practice career, he has tried several civil cases and several criminal cases before the judge and the jury.
Prince Ogunmeno holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the District of Columbia, Washington D.C. He also holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in law from Washburn University School of Law, Topeka, Kansas. Prince Ogunmeno is a licensed attorney in the state of Kansas. In addition, Prince Ogunmeno is a member of the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tenth Circuit of Appeal, the U.S. District Court of Kansas, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Prince Ogunmeno is a member of the American Bar Association, the Wyandotte County Bar Association, and the Jackson County Bar Association. He is the recipient of the Advocate Certificate from the American Trial Lawyers Association, and Minority Delegate award from the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. He is an adjunct professor at the Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Prince Ogunmeno is a soccer player, coach, and referee. He enjoys swimming, table tennis, walking, jogging, and other recreation sports.
